K1 Visa
Do you want to marry your Filipino fiancé or fiancée in the US? The K-1 visa allows you to get married within 90 days of your loved one’s arrival in the US. If you have been married for less than two years, the CR-1 visa may be right for you. The CR-1 visa is an immigrant visa that will grant your Filipino spouse conditional resident status. Conditional Resident status enables your Filipino spouse to receive the same benefits as a permanent resident for two years. Then, you must apply for the conditional status to be lifted before the end of your spouse’s second year in the US.
